Uncrashable toy cars not on kids' ‘most wanted’ toy list Mercedes-Benz released an ad this weekend displaying the advantages of its Brake Assist System Plus (BAS Plus) autonomous braking system. However, it went about making this ad by making “uncrashable” cars that would mystify both young children and the Insane Clown Posse. The uncrashable model cars are, of course, downsized Mercedes-Benz models with strong magnets inside, causing the models to repel each other during a scaled-down front-end collision.  Watch the video here -->>  https://youtu.be/6KgJuiXpsrM What happens in the video is predictable: All the kids want to do is smash the front of the models but can’t, leading to incredibly frustrated toddlers. The ad was designed to somehow make the connection between families, safety and Mercedes autonomous braking -- but mostly it just shows that kids love to smash toys. The video ends with an actual display of BAS Plus doing its job in a simulated near-collision. Now if Mercedes-Benz could get some footage of Juggalos trying to figure out uncrashable toys -- that would be magnet gold.
